King Kong VS. Godzilla Going Head to Head In New Legendary Movie

Just how much money are you movie afficionados willing to pay to see a monster showdown of gigantic proportions? We are talking about none other than the two biggest creatures that wasted buildings, structures, and cities on the silver screen – King Kong and Godzilla.

In a new film with no known release date as of yet, two of the biggest film studios have put their monstrous eggs in one blockbuster basket for what is called a “shared monster universe”. This is a project that places two separate creatures from different story lines in one plot to achieve massive results. Of course by results we are talking about raking in the big dough as Legendary and Warner Bros. once again team up on this epic show down of a project based on the famous giant ape and the monstrous radioactive lizard.

Much like how these two monster characters are meant to go head to head, Legendary and Warner Bros., which were once partnered, have gone their separate ways. But for this film, great minds do seem to think alike. Legendary was responsible behind the prequel movie Kong: Skull Island with its new partner, Universal pictures. While Warner Bros. remains the studio behind the Godzilla franchise.

No other specific details on the project and plot have been spilled as of now but fans of both characters have gone nuts speculating how these two monsters are set out to clash in the movie. Aside from all the action that these two are set to bring, there is also rumored to be the introduction of additional characters that will allegedly bout with Godzilla. Can the movie get any more action packed?

While fans are curious how this all pans out, several concerns have also been raised. To list a few: What is to be done with the size of King Kong, who in previous depictions seem to pale in comparison to the size of our main lizard? How can Kong keep up with the gigantic and nuclear-charged fire power and strength of Godzilla? Fans seem to think Kong is on the losing end of this theoretical smack down so far. But based on the past success of both studios, we can surely expect another monster film that will keep us on the edge of our seats.
